Introduction
In the history of humanity, there is one extraordinary personality whose life, character, teachings, and example continue to guide billions of people around the world. He is the final Prophet and Messenger of Allah, the leader of mankind, and a mercy to all creation—Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him).
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an:
“And We have not sent you except as a mercy to all the worlds.” (Qur’an 21:107)
The life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) is not merely a historical account; it is a complete way of life. Every stage of his life provides valuable lessons in faith, justice, mercy, honesty, leadership, family life, governance, and complete obedience to Allah.

Titles: Al-Amin (The Trustworthy), As-Sadiq (The Truthful)

Migration (Hijrah): From Makkah to Madinah in 622 CE
Age at Passing: 63 years (632 CE)
Arabia Before His Birth
Before the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him), Arabian society was immersed in ignorance and moral darkness. This period is known as the Age of Jahiliyyah (Ignorance).
During that time, society was characterized by:
Idol worship
Usury (interest)
Gambling
Alcohol consumption
Oppression of women
The practice of burying infant daughters alive
Tribal warfare
Oppression of the weak by the powerful
In such a society, Allah Almighty sent Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) to guide humanity toward the truth.
Birth and Childhood
The Prophet’s father, Abdullah, passed away before his birth, making him an orphan from the very beginning of his life.
Following the custom of the Arabs, he was entrusted to his foster mother, Halimah al-Sa’diyyah, who raised him for several years in the healthy environment of the desert.
When he was six years old, his mother, Aminah, passed away. His grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, then became his guardian. After his grandfather’s death two years later, his uncle Abu Talib took responsibility for raising him.
From childhood, Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) was known for his honesty, kindness, humility, and noble character. He never lied, never betrayed anyone’s trust, and never participated in immoral practices.
Youth and Early Career
As a young man, he accompanied his uncle on trading journeys. Through his honesty, integrity, and excellent character, he earned the respect of the people of Makkah.
They honored him with the titles Al-Amin (The Trustworthy) and As-Sadiq (The Truthful).
People trusted him so deeply that they would leave their valuable belongings in his care.
Marriage to Khadijah (May Allah Be Pleased With Her)
Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) was a respected and wealthy businesswoman in Makkah. Impressed by Muhammad’s honesty and trustworthiness, she appointed him to manage her trade.
Later, she proposed marriage to him. At the time, Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) was 25 years old, while Khadijah was approximately 40 years old.
Their marriage was a model of love, respect, and mutual support. Khadijah became the first person to accept Islam and remained the Prophet’s greatest supporter throughout the early years of his mission.
The Beginning of Prophethood
At the age of forty, Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) frequently retreated to the Cave of Hira for worship and contemplation.
